More customers are implementing asynchronous system managed duplexing (SMD) of the LOCK1 structure, yet there are many others who should but have not done so. This session will describe several configurations that could benefit from async SMD. In the process you will learn the value of systems managed duplexing (SMD), distinguish synchronous SMD and asynchronous SMD, and review customer performance results. The key message: Async SMD provides availability AND performance!
There is currently no attachment for Availability and Performance: asynchronous system managed duplexing and Db2’s LOCK1 structure
