IBM z/VSE is not supported since Sept. 30th, 2023, but 21CS VSEn 6.3 and 6.4 is supported and is the recommend path forward. In this session we will cover the announcements and news that have been happening since we released 21CS VSEn 6.3 in 2022, including: things to consider when upgrading to 21CS VSEn 6.3 and 6.4, or when upgrading to new IBM Z HW and the next steps you should take if you care about your VSE workloads.

Gonzalo has been in the mainframe industry since he finished his studies in Computer Science in year 2000. First at IBM involved with IBM z/VSE, Linux on Z, z/VM and KVM on Z with various roles from Development, QA and Project Manager to People Manager and Product Manager. Since June 2021 works for 21CS/Teracloud GmbH as the VP responsible for the 21CS VSEn business.
