Client User Experiences using z/OS Container Extensions (zCX)

(HN)

Stream: Indianapolis
Time: 11:15 - 12:00

Presentation

z/OS Container Extensions (zCX) is a powerful way of running Linux on Z binaries packaged as OCI complaint (Docker) containers co-located on the same LPAR as your mainstream z/OS workloads. With the advent of AI on Z and other revolutionary technologies on z/OS, zCX adoption has skyrocked. In this session, various client use cases leveraging both zCX Standard and zCX for OpenShift will be shared and how they benefited from the z/OS co-location and operational benefits.
