Simran is a NTZ Technical Consultant at Vertali who began her mainframe journey last year. With a degree in Computer Science (Cybersecurity and Networking), she has always had a passion for security. After being introduced to mainframes, she developed a keen interest in both mainframe technology and mainframe security. Although still early in her career, Simran is actively learning and passionate about sharing her knowledge to help students and early-career professionals discover mainframes.
Kyle Pressley is the founder of Mainframe101, an interactive web platform designed to make IBM Z education accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world through a realistic simulated mainframe environment. Kyle began developing Mainframe101 during his final months at Bedford College after experiencing firsthand how difficult it can be for newcomers to access and learn mainframe technology. He is passionate about modernising mainframe education and helping address the industry’s growing skills gap by making learning more engaging, accessible, and practical.
