This session introduces the Open Mainframe Project Zowe MCP Server, a groundbreaking adapter designed to seamlessly integrate mainframe resources into the modern AI ecosystem using the Model Context Protocol. We'll explore how this foundation allows AI agents to securely access Zowe-mediated data and services, effectively turning the mainframe into a first-class citizen in generative AI workflows. Attendees will see these concepts in action through a live demo featuring an AI assistant interacting directly with z/OS via Zowe foundations.
