This session provides an introduction to MQ from the perspective of a new systems programmer, exploring what it is, why it is important, and how its key components work together. The session will cover MQ fundamentals, including queue managers, queues, channels, message flow, and core definitions, while sharing practical insights from my first 6 months learning and working with MQ.
