Open Source is about more than just committing changes to some software on GitHub... It's about working alongside people from a wide-reaching community, contributing to an inclusive ecosystem, and chipping-in towards something that we can all utilise. If you want to engage in Open Source without too much separation from the z/OS platform we all know and love, this session will cover various avenues that you might want to consider! From writing documentation for a GitBook, to presenting your journey for a Student User Group... From teaching a Programming Course, to supporting diversity in tech... All of these things (and more) are possible even with limited technical experience! Whatever you contribute, you'll be sure to learn more and gain valuable experience
