The QUIC protocol can be considered a follow-on protocol to TCP/IP. It solves some of the problems with TCP/IP (such as moving from one WI-FI to another). This presentation will cover the basics of TCP/IP, what the holes are, and how QUIC solves them. QUIC isn't perfect, but is used by many products for higher throughput.
There is currently no attachment for QUIC - Is this just a faster version of TCP/IP? No.
