I'm a mainframe programmer in the broadest sense. Meaning I'll code just about anything I can get my hands on and probably enjoy it too.
Lukas first learnt about mainframes from his university's Mainframe society which he later became president of. He continued to learn about mainframes throughout his university career, working with local companies and developing open-source software for Zowe. Graduating in 2022, he now works at ICU, Netherlands, working with CICS as a system programmer and focusing on mainframe modernisation. In 2023 he became IBM Champion, passionate about bringing the beauty of mainframe to others and encouraging young people to pursue a career in the field.
Henri Kuiper is a pre Y2K Mainframe junkie. Started taking apart computers at a very young age (BBC Micro's Anyone?) and never stopped his love for 'taking things apart' (and mostly putting them back together too). He's Technical Coordinator for the Dutch region of Guide Share Europe, IBM Champion for z Systems, owner of zDevOps.com pro-deo teacher at 'codeuur.nl' (teaching primary school kids how to program) and loves all things IT :)
