New to Z and already familiar with cloud storage? That experience carries over more than you might think. This session shows how to use cloud object storage with z/OS, so you and your team can move cold data off disk and tape, keep backup and archive copies, and get mainframe data to the systems that need it with ease. We'll look at how a cleaner, more familiar approach helps newer team members find their footing fast, and why that matters to keep the mainframe strong as a new generation takes it on.
